We have always loved to travel, so when Little M was born, the hubby and I were determined to find a way to continue to see the world with our little one along for the ride! I want Little M to learn about different countries, cultures, foods and experiences through travel and we have been fortunate enough to be able to take many trips as a family. For those times when it is not possible to be on the road (or in the air), Little Passports provides the perfect solution to satisfy our wanderlust.

Little M just received his introductory box in the mail, addressed to him of course, and he was so excited to see the small cardboard suitcase filled with all sorts of travel goodies, including a  map of the world, a passport and a letter from two cartoon characters Sam and Sofia explaining the adventures that await.

Children learn about the people and cultures of the places they visit through Sam and Sofia’s voyages and discoveries. Each month they travel to a new country and send souvenirs, activity sheets, stickers and letters. Talk about the perfect way to give your kids the world!

if your little explorers still want to learn more, here are some of our favorite websites to help kids explore different countries and cultures:

National Geographic Kids

Discovery Kids

Smithsonian Kids

Little Passports has a wealth of information on their website for young travelers. We love their feature on school lunches from around the world.
