Alphablock (by Christopher Franceschelli, illustrated by Peskimo) is quite possibly the most inventive and creative alphabet book we have ever read!
In this interactive board book, every letter of the alphabet gets two full pages to shine. The thick pages are cut into the shape of each letter, and the die-cut versions of the alphabets provide a peek-a-boo spin on the classic alphabet books.

R is for rainbow, and we are treated to a lovely landscape compete with rain, sun and clouds before turning the page to discover the surprise behind the letter R.
Luckily for us, the fun doesn’t end there. Sprinkles, chocolate sauce and cherries give readers a clue about the I for Ice Cream Sundae, while A is for Apple comes complete with a picnic basket, blanket and other treats. Our favorite though, is the letter W…

W is for… you guessed it, Web! Did the spider give it away?

Little M and I love reading this book and guessing at the words based on the visual clues on each page. This unique take on the classic ABC book and the colorful, retro illustrations are sure to make this book a hit with both big and little kids!
