Japanese illustrator and writer Taro Gomi creates a beautiful story for the little ones.

Little M and I adore Taro Gomi’s book Mommy! Mommy! The hide-and-seek story is about a pair of adorable little chicks who search for their mother calling out “Mommy! Mommy!” Is that mommy behind the bushes or is it a flower? Is that mommy behind some rocks, or a big pink monster? Little M laughs every single time we read it and that of course, makes me laugh too. Which pretty much guarantees that we will never get tired of reading this book.

Gomi is a prolific writer and his baby board books are delightful and sure to entertain your little ones. We also love his Doodles Place Mats series, which allows kids to unleash their imagination by coloring, drawing and doodling.
