We have been having a lot of fun with our newest cookbook, Cooking Class by Deanna F. Cook.
Cooking Class: 57 Fun Recipes Kids Will Love to Make (and Eat!) is a definite hit with Little M. The book explains how to get your kitchen organized, the importance of starting with good ingredients and important prep work and cooking terms – all in a very kid-friendly way and with lots of pictures!
Recipes range from simple stuff like making cinnamon sugar (perfect for sprinkling on toast and oatmeal) to a mix-and-match fruit flower garden to pizza self-portraits.
There’s even a section about gardening and growing fruits and veggies and the right way to wash them. I love the salad section and tiny toast toppings.
Even Baby M enjoys looking through the book and pointing out all the delicious things we can make. The book makes cooking easy and fun for kids. Can’t wait for your copy to arrive? Check out some recipes on Deanna’s website. And don’t forget about dessert!
