Planning a getaway with the kids this winter? Visit Santa Barbara to soak up some sun, dip your toes in the ocean and feed the giraffes (yes, really)! 

We recently stayed at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara and I can’t say enough good things about our visit.

Our every need was anticipated, from our easy check-in, where Little M was presented with his very own stuffed toy, to our cozy room, complete with treats for all of us.

We went straight to the Kids Club for some pizza making. Little M did most of the work, but the hubby and I wanted to try our hand at it too! The Kids For All Seasons program at the hotel is incredible and keeps the children very busy and entertained.

The sun and sand were such a draw for us! Little M wanted to jump right into the pool, but was happy to walk along the beach as well. We watched the most beautiful sunsets, had a relaxing dinner and even had a chance to make S’Mores!

We were there for the Christmas Tree lighting and it was a magical event. What a lovely and family-friendly experience, kids were able to write and mail letters to Santa and there was hot chocolate and cider for all.

The highlight of the trip was our visit to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Little M got to feed Michael the giraffe and ride the zoo train! What more could you ask for of a winter vacation with the family?
