As soon as I received this cookbook, I immediately started flipping through it and bookmarking recipes. I have been a fan of The Sprouted Kitchen blog for a while now and it is such a great resource for healthy, wholesome and tasty meals. Sara Forte’s recipes and her husband Hugh’s photos provide a lovely story, through recipes and pictures, of how to cook using fresh seasonal produce and whole foods.

I love that so many of the recipes are quick and easy to follow, perfect for busy weeknight suppers and simple snacks. The first time I made the Sprouted Kitchen cookbook’s mango mint lassi, Little M devoured it almost instantly. It has quickly become a family favorite. I adore cookbooks and especially love ones that have beautiful photos of food, they inspire me to cook and create new dishes.

The cookbook is divided into easy to navigate sections, including breakfast, snacks, happy hour and treats. Some of our favorite recipes include the ranchero breakfast tostadas, crunchy curried chickpeas, green herb shrimp with summer squash couscous and almond meal strawberry cake! If reading this has made you so hungry that you can’t wait for the cookbook to arrive, get started with these lemon pancakes with yogurt and berries!
