Before Little M was born, I spent hours scouring websites and stores to search for essential items for a new baby. As most parents know, this is an overwhelming process and it is so difficult to know which items will really stand the test of time and even transition into toddlerhood. I was going through Little M’s closet the other day and realized that one of the few items we still use from his newborn days are our aden + anais muslin swaddles. They are wonderful and soft and generously sized; I remember swaddling Little M in them when he was a tiny bundle and watching him sleep peacefully. These days, I still always keep one in the stroller, they come in handy to cover Little M if the temperature drops, to shield him from the sun’s rays, or even to throw on the ground as an impromptu picnic blanket.

I bought the swaddles in adorable animal prints and also splurged on a few organic ones. aden + anais has recently unveiled these beautiful b jeweled colors and they are vibrant, bright and breathtaking. Perfect to wrap around Little M (or even myself) as we stroll around our neighborhood enjoying the lovely fall weather.
